I love getting affirmation that I did the right thing, and even when I was just in the idea phase of getting a scooter (the few days it took me to decide) I guessed that scooters are going to be the next big thing. Even the writers of the blogs I'm following are getting scooters.
The dealership told me that in the last three weeks they have sold more scooters than they did all of last year. They didn't pull out the charts, graphs, and actual sales figures, but I definitely see a trend.
It would be such a smart idea right now to open up a scooter shop. The place from where I bought my scooter is actually a motorcycle dealership that has cars, but I think a fully focused scooter store would be that much more successful.
