While you may have heard the big results of the US election yesterday, you may not have heard about the proposition I was cheering for the most. As of 6:45am this morning, it looks to be official with around 95% of precincts reporting that the State of California has approved Proposition 1A to build a High Speed Rail throughout the state.

Not all the counties that will potentially have stops voted in favor, but it is very close. In fact, I'm happily surprised that some counties that won't be very close to any stations have approved of the measure. Check out the California High Speed Rail Blog for more results coverage.
